Who is responsible for your data
The data you send us is processed by Jules Grossi, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading as Seven8 and operating the Art of Wellness brand, Rue Davin, 20000 Ajaccio, France.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Only with your consent, this website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook, Instagram). It lets us measure how well our ads perform: how many people reach the website from an ad and how many send a booking request.
In practice, if you accept, the Pixel records your visit ("PageView") and, if you send the form, the fact that a request was sent ("Lead"). The content of the form (your name, email, phone number, message) is never sent to Meta. To do this, Meta sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) kept for up to 13 months, and may process this information outside the European Union, including in the United States under the Data Privacy Framework, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
For the collection of this information through the Pixel, Art of Wellness and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers; Meta alone is responsible for how it uses the information afterwards. You can exercise your rights with either of us.
If you decline, no Meta script is loaded and no advertising cookie is set: your visit stays exactly the same. Your choice is kept in your browser (13 months if you accept, 6 months if you decline) so we don't ask you on every page.

What happens to your messages
The booking form sends your answers to Art of Wellness when you press "Reserve my place". They pass through our technical providers, which deliver them to our mailbox without keeping them beyond delivery.
The same applies to the form on the Contact page (your name, email address, subject and message), sent when you press "Send message".
Nothing is saved in a database or kept on the website itself: your answers only exist as the message we receive.
The data we receive
When you write to us, we receive the information you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, preferred room type and message. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to handle your request; without them, we cannot get back to you.
If you book, we also keep the information related to your booking and payments (amounts, dates, payment schedule). We never have access to your full card details when you pay by card: they are handled directly by the bank or payment provider.
If you tell us about your health or diet (allergies, special diet, pregnancy, contraindications), this information is only used to adapt the meals and activities of the retreat, and is only shared with the person concerned (chef, practitioner). Only share what is useful for your stay. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
This information is only used to answer your request, call you to confirm your booking, organise your stay and keep you informed about the retreat. It is never sold, transferred or used for marketing unrelated to your request.
We don't send you a newsletter without your consent. If you have attended a retreat, we may let you know about future editions; you can object at any time with a simple message.

Who has access
The people handling your request at Art of Wellness; OVH, which hosts our email on servers located in France; and Brevo, a French company that delivers form requests from servers located in the European Union. To organise your stay, we share only what is strictly necessary with our team (for example your first name and allergies with the chef).
If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp or Instagram, those conversations go through Meta's services, under their own rules.
Your messages and their content therefore do not leave the European Union. This does not apply to the technical logs and the Meta Pixel described on this page.
Technical logs
Like any website on the internet, this one is delivered by a host that keeps connection logs for security and proper operation: IP address, date, page requested.
This host is Cloudflare, a US company whose server network includes the European Union. These logs fall under its own privacy policy and may therefore be processed outside the European Union under the legal framework Cloudflare adheres to.
The website's fonts are hosted on the website itself: displaying them sends no information to any third party.
Art of Wellness has no access to these logs and does not use them for audience measurement or profiling.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also set instructions for what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, simply write to the contact address shown on this website. We reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr, or with the data protection authority of your country.
No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out using your data.
Links to external services
This website links to WhatsApp, our Instagram account and the Art of Stay website. These links activate nothing until you click them; once you follow them, those services' privacy rules apply, not ours.
