Any question about your data can be sent to him directly at contact@byartofwellness.com.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Only with your consent, this website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook, Instagram). It lets us measure how well our ads work: how many people arrive on the website from an ad, how many send a booking request and how many book.
In practice, if you accept, the Pixel records your visit ("PageView"), the fact that a request was sent through a form ("Lead"), your move to the payment page ("InitiateCheckout") and, after a payment, its confirmation ("Purchase"), with the amount concerned. The content of the forms (your name, email, phone number, message) is never sent to Meta. To do this, Meta sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) kept for up to 13 months, and may process this information outside the European Union, in particular in the United States under the Data Privacy Framework, according to its own privacy policy.
For the collection of this information by the Pixel, Art of Wellness and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers; Meta alone is responsible for how it uses it afterwards. You can exercise your rights with either of them.
If you decline, no Meta script is loaded and no advertising cookie is set: your visit stays exactly the same. Your choice is kept in your browser (13 months if you accept, 6 months if you decline) so we don't ask you again on every page.
The website also keeps in your browser, without sending it to anyone, the language you are using when you go to the payment page, so that the confirmation is shown in your language when you come back, and, if you accepted the Pixel, a simple marker that prevents the same payment from being counted twice.
You can change your mind at any time: manage my cookies (a link is also at the bottom of every page).
What happens to your messages
The booking forms on the retreat pages send your answers to Art of Wellness when you press the send button ("Reserve my place", "Pay the deposit"…). They pass through our technical providers, which deliver them to our mailbox without keeping them beyond delivery.
The same applies to the form on the Contact page (your name, email address, subject and message), sent when you press "Send message".
Nothing is saved in a database or kept on the website itself: your answers exist only as the message we receive.
Booking by message. On the retreat pages, the options you tick (alone or with someone, room) are only used to prepare the text of the message in your browser: nothing is sent to us at that stage. The "Send on WhatsApp" button opens your WhatsApp app with this message; you send it yourself, from your own account. We then receive your message, your phone number and your WhatsApp profile name, as with any WhatsApp conversation.
The data we receive
When you write to us, we receive the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, the type of room you would like, whether you are coming alone or with someone, how you wish to book and your message. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to handle your request; without them, we cannot get back to you.
If you pay online (deposit or full price), payment takes place on the secure page of our provider Stripe, where your email address is already filled in. Stripe sends us the payment confirmation, its amount, your name and your email address. We never have access to your full bank details: they are handled directly by Stripe and, for a payment in three instalments, by Klarna.
If you book, we also keep the information relating to your booking and your payments (amounts, dates, payment schedule).
If you tell us about your health or diet (allergies, special diet, pregnancy, contraindication), this information is used only to adapt the meals and activities of the retreat, and is shared only with the person concerned (chef, practitioner). Only tell us what is useful for your stay. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
This information is used only to answer your request, to get back to you to confirm your booking, to organise your stay and to keep you informed about the retreat. It is never sold, transferred or used for marketing unrelated to your request.
We do not send you a newsletter without your consent. If you have taken part in a retreat, we may let you know about future editions; you can object at any time with a simple message.

Who has access
The people handling your request at Art of Wellness, OVH, which hosts our mailbox on servers in France, and Brevo, a French company that delivers the form requests from servers in the European Union. To organise your stay, we share only what is strictly necessary with the people involved (for example your first name and allergies with the chef).
For online payments: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and, if you choose to pay in three instalments, Klarna Bank AB (Sweden). These providers act under their own privacy rules and may process some data outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp or Instagram, these exchanges go through Meta's services, under their own rules.
The messages sent through the website's forms therefore do not leave the European Union. This does not apply to exchanges on WhatsApp or Instagram, online payments, technical logs or the Meta Pixel described on this page.
Technical logs and statistics
Like any website on the internet, this one is served by a host that keeps connection logs for security and proper operation: IP address, date, page requested.
This host is Cloudflare, a US company with a network of servers that includes the European Union. These logs fall under its own privacy policy and may therefore be processed outside the European Union under the legal framework Cloudflare adheres to. Art of Wellness has no access to these logs.
We do, however, use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives us overall visit statistics (number of visits, pages viewed, country, type of device). This service sets no cookies, uses no identifier and does not track you from one site to another: we only see overall figures, never your visit in particular.
The fonts are hosted on the website itself: displaying them sends no information to any third party.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, simply write to us at the contact address on this website. We reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr.
No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out using your data.
Links to external services
The website links to WhatsApp, to the Stripe payment page, to our Instagram account and to the Art of Stay website. These links do nothing until you click on them; once you follow them, the privacy rules of those services apply, not ours.
